Planning Process
Upon receipt of the signed Web Site Design and Maintenance Agreement and initial part payment, we will work with you on obtaining copies of company print materials, logo, brochures, advertisements, stationery, pictures, catalogues etc. that you list on the Web Site Design Worksheet. Provide as much of this information as possible on a CD-ROM or via email.
We work with you on obtaining information for your web site content and include pages you might want for your site and types of content such as:
Company Profile/About Us page
What your company does, when it was founded, where it is located, branch office locations, information and photos about staff/key executives, trading hours, annual reports, press releases etc.
Product and Services page
Details about what you manufacture, your value added services, pricing, quotes by email or facsimile, pictures of your building, the processing plant and processes, products, product specifications etc.
Technical Support/Customer Service page
Key staff contacts for technical support difficulties, on-line manuals, guarantees, warranties, list of your most frequently asked questions etc.
Career/Employment Opportunities page
A great inexpensive approach to recruit qualified applicants and also provide existing employees with company information ie. policies, benefits etc.
Contact Us page
List company addresses and location of branch offices, telephone numbers, facsimile numbers, email addresses for different departments ie. sales, technical support etc.
Tools and Useful Links Information page
This is where you give your visitors something for FREE. This is one of the ways you get them to come back for another visit and/or suggest your site to others.
Reviewing Your Web Site
We review, with you, the site we've constructed from the written web site specifications and document any changes that are to be made. We also request the 2nd part payment installment.
Testing Your Pages
We will perform tests on all pages, making sure links and pages are all correct and work with the many different browser types available.
Uploading Your Pages
We review the final pages with you based on your written specifications prior to uploading your pages to your web host server. You will need to provide us with your web host account information (account identification and passwords) in order for us to be able to upload your site to your web host server. At this time we will also collect the final payment from you (payment must be made prior to the upload of any pages to the web host server).
If at the time your site is complete you do not have a web site host, we will provide you with a CD-ROM (or DVD) containing your web site.
On-going Maintenance
In accordance with the service options you chose when you signed the Web Site Design and Maintenance Agreement prior to the start of the web site design process, we will update and maintain your web site accordingly.
